Prior to receiving his law degree from IU School of Law-Indianapolis, Mr. Koons graduated with the highest distinction from Indiana University Purdue University - Indianapolis where he majored in Political Science and Economics and minored in Mathematics, Business, and Art History. 

 

During law school, Mr. Koons served on the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review, and he was a part of the Dean's Tutorial Society as a legal writing tutor for first year law students. While finishing his third year of law school, Mr. Koons was a law clerk for a personal injury litigation firm in Indianapolis.
